International Photo Contest 2009
focussing on
the Prevention of Violence against Children and Adolescents
»agi ArbeitsGruppe International« (agi Workgroup International) and the non-profit-organization »Glückliche Familie e.V.« (Happy Family e.V.) launch, in collaboration with other institutions and partners, the International Photo Contest 2009 focussing on »the Prevention of Violence against Children and Adolescents«.
This contest, which is announced in various
categories, aims at raising the awareness of practiced and
consumed forms of violence, the prevention of which is hard to
communicate but should be at the centre of social life. The key
medium of photography, a much-used and versatile means of
information, can make a major contribution to this purpose.
Therefore positions of artistic subjectivity as well as any
documentary approaches to the subject are welcome.
